SME network as a capable and flexible system provider

Only with holistic systems and solutions can we as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) generate appropriate attention and awareness in planning and procurement in order to ultimately provide the end user with optimum support.

SMEs make valuable individual contributions when it comes to #innovative and #agile components. However, they reach their limits when the functional and tactical requirements of an overall solution are in demand.

We are convinced that SMEs will be capable and flexible solution providers in the future.

In addition to our collaboration and involvement in associations such as the Federation of German Security and Defence Industries BDSV and Bayern Innovativ‘s TechHUB SVI (Hub for technology and innovation of the Bavarian security and defense industry), we are strengthening cooperation in the operational field.

#Mobility and #low signature are vital requirements in the modern battlefield. Line of Sight (#LOS) is sometimes a contradictory requirement for most sensors.

In order to combine these tactical and technical requirements in one solution, we worked with ARX Robotics GmbH and other partners to test #mobility, #reconnaissance from cover/ in difficult terrain, and #interoperability using the example of the rapid switch of a mast-supported payload between manned and unmanned platforms.

Once again, the #Zippermast proved its ability as an ‘interface harmonisation enabler’ and as a ‘bridge’ between platform and payload.
