THALES Sophie XF successfully integrated on ZM_10-060 ZIPPERMAST

In an integration project, Thales’s Sophie XF, a long-range hand-held thermal imager and target locator, was integrated onto our ZIPPERMAST ZM_10. “As a result, an established reconnaissance optic which is widely used by the armed forces has optained an important functional extension. This system enables the reconnaissance unit to operate from defensive positions and to significantly increase the depth of reconnaissance,” said Frank Woodcock, CEO of ZIPPERMAST GmbH.
The experts involved were amazed to see how easy it was to integrate the thermal imager onto the ZIPPERMAST. With this integration, ZIPPERMAST once again proves its potential as a multifunctional mast for remote, manned and unmanned mission scenarios. A system approach that generates a real gain in functionality and safety during operations.
